Hello! I am looking for a room in a shared house in Brighton to move into soon, from around early March and until the summer (June/July/August al...l ok!) so probably a 5 or 6 month contract would be great.
I am doing a PGCE in Languages, so I am technically a student, but I don't mind living with students or working professionals - I worked for the two years before staring my PGCE so I don't really see myself as a student! I used to work in music video production and so my interests include music, film, outdoor activities, food, culture, travel etc. I am a sociable and friendly person- my ideal housemates will want to do things together from time to time as I am moving out of a very quiet house which has been a little too lonely for my liking. I am still relatively new to Brighton so I would love to get to know a bubbly group of people to hang out with, watch things with, cook/eat with! I'm always keen for an of day glass of wines and chat! That said, I really like my own space and always respect others' personal space. I'm easygoing, clean and tidy and a good communicator.
In non-lockdown times, my favourite thing to do is go to gigs! Otherwise I love going on day trips / adventures, cycling to a beach, going to get food, summer afternoons in pub gardens, shopping in the lanes, going to galleries/museums/bookshops... the list is endless so I will save you time and stop there.
I am looking for a room in a shared house near to the centre of the city. Outdoor space is a massive plus as I love being out and about or evenings reading outside/ morning coffees and podcasts on the balcony etc. I'd like to spend between £500-600 per month, not including bills, but I am quite flexible on that for the right place and the right people!
Please ask me any questions you have, it would be really good to get to know you!
