Live in a Museum

This completely rebuilt house on three floors in the sought after location of High Shincliffe has buses to Durham every 20 minutes and is perfect for someone with a taste for fine things, refined comfort and a love of tranquility. There is a newly installed wet-room on the ground floor for personal use. The main first floor bathroom is the owner's bathroom, but can be used by the resident. There are stunning views front and back and a beautifully laid our yard, flower beds and lawn for our use. You can sit outside front and back. There is a security system and a cleaner who comes once a week to service your room and the rest of the house. I have a whippet puppy, so if you do not like or cannot tolerate my pet, this is not the home for you. No photos due to the art works. Appointments can be made directly with me for viewing.re is, of course a library and multiple multimedia devices and connection to the internet. Dining in is always undertaken in the dining room from 6pm, but you are welcome to cook for yourself and have use of the fridge freezer in the back extension which leads to the wet room. I cannot allow guests to stay overnight, but they are welcome during daytime hours. If I am entertaining at home, you will be included in the numbers unless you wish to not join the party. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to live in this house. I will reject applicants who I consider to be temperamentally unsuited to living here.
