Peaceful Vegan Home
£600 - Whitehall, Bristol
I'm looking for someone to share my two-bedroom terraced house in Whitehall (the eastern edge of Easton, just off the B2B path and not far from St George Park).
I live here with my rescue cat Winnie. She's timid but affectionate and once she gets to know you she will come and keep you company, especially if you let her sit on your lap.
I have a hybrid charity job and I work from home most of the time. My partner lives in Dorset so I'm sometimes away at her place and she sometimes stays here. I keep a tidy house and expect you to clean up after yourself and do your share of the cleaning.
I like making food and have a well-appointed kitchen with food processor, air fryer, instant pot, dehydrator, etc. It would be nice to share meals sometimes, but it's not a dealbreaker.
It's mostly quiet here, but I welcome guests if you like to have people to visit, and I'd love to share music, movies, and books.
The area is really great for all sorts of things. Within a short walk there's an Aldi, a refill shop, a couple of nice bakeries, a glut of great pubs, the famous Bristol Sweet Mart, the treasure trove that is Rajani's, lots of lovely green spaces (St George Park, Royate Hill Nature Reserve, Greenbank Cemetery, to name a few), and the B2B path.
You can store a bike indoors, and it's a ten-minute cycle into town along the bike path with no cars. There's on-street parking if you drive.
Bills work out to £171.42 each at the moment—much less if you have council tax exemption.
